My Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative and relational, meaning that I draw from a range of evidence-based psychological models to create a way of working that fits you as an individual. I believe that therapy should be as unique as the person seeking it. Together, we find a pace and approach that feels safe, supportive, and meaningful to you.

Below is a brief overview of the therapeutic approaches that inform my work:
Person-Centred Therapy
Rooted in empathy and genuine understanding, Person-Centred Therapy provides a space where you can explore your emotions and experiences without fear of judgment. The focus is on helping you reconnect with your inner resources, develop self-acceptance, and move toward a more authentic way of being.
Psychodynamic Therapy
This approach helps uncover how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns may be shaping your present thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. By bringing these deeper dynamics into awareness, you can begin to understand long-standing emotional struggles and make more conscious, empowered choices in your life.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns and provides practical tools to challenge and reframe them. This evidence-based approach is particularly effective for anxiety, low mood, and stress management, promoting healthier ways of thinking and responding.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you develop a more compassionate relationship with your inner experiences. Instead of fighting difficult emotions, you learn to accept them while focusing on actions that align with your values. It encourages flexibility, self-acceptance, and a greater sense of meaning in daily life.
Existential Therapy
Existential Therapy explores the deeper questions of life - identity, purpose, and the search for meaning. It supports you in reflecting on your choices, values, and personal responsibility, helping you live more consciously and authentically. This approach can be particularly helpful during life transitions or moments of uncertainty.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a structured, evidence-based approach for processing and healing from trauma or distressing experiences. It works by helping the brain reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing you to move forward with greater calm and resilience.
Therapy with me is collaborative and attuned to your individual pace. Some clients come to develop practical strategies for managing anxiety or low mood, while others seek a space for deeper reflection and personal growth. Whatever your needs, my aim is to provide a compassionate and reflective space where you can explore your inner world, build self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
I believe therapy is more than a space to talk - it is a space to reconnect with yourself. Through this process, you can rediscover authenticity, confidence, and self-compassion, and begin to live with a greater sense of alignment and emotional wellbeing.
